About Us
Camkada has been in Cambridge since 1963 and operates with fully qualified Judo NZ trained Coaches, we operate 3 times per week, Monday and Wednesday in Cambridge. The Cambridge Dojo is owned by the club and has a fully sprung floor on top of which are laid 40mm high quality Judo mats and in addition we have extra crash mats for the big throws
Coaches & Commitee
The Coaching team consists of;
Head Coach, Harry Smith is a 3rd Dan & NZ L1 & L2 Qualified Coach, he obtained his 1st Dan in the UK and his 2nd and 3rd here in New Zealand, he is our representative on the Waikato Bays Area Committee. Tracey is a 1st Kyu, NZ L1 and L2 Qualified Coach, Dewald is a 1st Kyu and Grant a 2nd who are both NZ qualified Coaches
Commitee is;
Harry is Club Chairman, Courtney and Danielle as joint Secretary / Treasurer operate the wheel house of the Club and processes all correspondence, send out invoices, balances the books, basically all the jobs no one else wants to do!
Sarah & Sarah look after advertising, Facebook etc so if you have any Club news please contact them, Robbie is Heath and Safety, and finally Adam, Angus, Dewald and Grant are members of a Fundraising Sub Commitee
